Architectural Drafting & Design

Employment in the Architectural and Related Fields

The Executive Certificate in Architectural Drafting & Design Technology program prepares the student for employment in the architectural and related fields. Through drafting projects students will learn to prepare various architectural drawings of structures and equipment systems derived from layouts and sketches.  Students will transform initial designs using computer aided drafting (CAD) into working architectural drawings adhering to the American Standards Institute (ANSI) and American Institute of Architects (AIA) drafting standards.  Students may find employment as an architectural drafting technician, computer aided drafting technician, or as an engineering drafter.  Complete in 12 months!
