Proficiency in HTML/DHTML and Server-Side Programming
The one-year Certificate in Web Database Development provides students with intermediate and advanced knowledge and skills in utilizing and leveraging databases on the Internet. Students will be able to incorporate database design, development, and deployment into e-commerce sites, dynamic web sites, and business-to-business data collaboration. Students also learn about current and emerging trends impacting high-end web site development and enterprise-class data warehousing along with resources to keep them current in this fast moving technology.
This program is for those who wish to become proficient in using HTML/DHTML and server-side programming to build Web pages, developing Web applications using several different tools and technologies and developing and maintaining Web site databases.
This Web Database Development certificate is an intensive and challenging program. Students with a background in I.T. are ideally suited. In particular, familiarity with Web technologies (especially HTML), introductory programming, and a basic understanding of databases are extremely helpful. Not recommended for students who are new to the I.T. field. Complete in 6 months!
