Learn to create outstanding special events with the Certificate in Event Management and Design Program.  This program contains two focuses: Special Event Management and Special Event Design.  Students will learn about the practicalities of planning events and the daze of designing them.  The certificate in Event Management and Design is designed for individuals who wish to learn the core competencies and skills necessary to plan and produce corporate events, meetings, weddings, parades, fairs, festivals, and more.

Students will learn the components of meeting and event planning and will be guided step-by-step through the specific topics resulting in the creation of a portfolio-ready project presentation that demonstrates the student’s comprehensive knowledge of the meeting planning and events industry.  From permits to pyrotechnics, this program teaches how to design, plan, implement, manage and evaluate special events. Complete in 6 months!

This four month Certificate in Event Management and Design program will equip students with the knowledge to advance in the field if they are already working in special events, or it will prepare them to enter the profession with an understanding of the industry.
