Learn to Successfully Manage Construction Projects
The Certificate in Construction Management is an eight month program designed to develop competency in the comprehension of general and construction management skills. The curriculum includes 8 courses focusing on construction methods and materials, cost estimating and construction surveying, planning and scheduling construction projects, construction safety and project management. Students will build the skills required to successfully manage construction projects through effective planning and oversight and the use of proactive safety procedures. Upon graduation, students will have a thorough understanding of the planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting needed for a wide variety of construction projects, including the building of all types of residential, commercial, and industrial structures, roads, bridges, waste water treatment plants, schools and hospitals.
