Learn the Key Aspects of Project Management
The Certificate in Project Management Program is designed to help students improve their knowledge and skills in project management and obtain the skills needed to keep projects on task, on time, and on budget. The selected curriculum builds from theories of project management to real-world practices applicable to all industries and fields. Core business practices that are known universally in all industries, with a capstone course that integrates core learning in strategy, business, management, organizational behavior, communication, leadership, and supply chain management using the project management framework, are included. You learn from highly qualified instructors with substantial real world project management experience. Complete in 12 months!
Prerequisite: A Bachelors degree (or prior college studies) is required for enrollment in this Certificate. Four courses can be transferred into the certificate program from a Bachelors degree.
This program will teach students the terminology associated with project management and the practical application of the concepts in the day-to-day planning and execution of projects. Students will learn how project management is applied in the real world and all of the essential aspects of project management, such as developing the project scope and schedule, creating a project management plan, and developing a communications plan.
